Axie Infinity to launch on the App Store! First available to users in Latin America and Southeast Asia.

The once popular blockchain game Axie Infinity released a new version called "Axie Infinity: Origins" in March last year. At that time, the developer Sky Mavis revealed plans to launch a mobile game version, and this plan has recently made progress.

Axie Infinity to Launch on App Store

According to a report by The Block, Axie Infinity: Origins will be available for download on Apple's App Store, initially open to users in select countries in Latin America and Southeast Asia. This planned launch is aimed at gathering retention-related data, as stated by Jeffrey Zirlin, co-founder of Sky Mavis. The game will later be made available to global users.

Note: Countries where Axie Infinity: Origins can be downloaded include Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Venezuela, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam.

Additionally, Zirlin mentioned that they have been collaborating with Apple for a year to obtain approval for listing on the App Store.

Positive News Boosts AXS Price Increase

Following the announcement, the in-game token AXS saw a price surge, reaching around $7.6 at the time of writing, marking a 10% increase.
