Strategy Game Launches on Binance IEO Token: ACE

Binance and other exchanges like OKX have simultaneously launched a new IEO project - Fusionist, with its token ACE mining activity continuing until the 18th of this month.

According to Binance's official information, the strategy game Fusionist received a $6.6 million seed round investment led by Binance Labs in May this year, becoming a prominent Web3 game project in the capital market this year.

Fusionist Introduction Token: ACE

Fusionist is a Web3 strategy game with exquisite graphics and special effects, created using rendering tools like Unity and HDRP, which has been recognized for its technology by the official Unity China team. It showcases high-quality gameplay visuals distinct from typical Web3 games. The official also provides actual gameplay videos for reference.

The gameplay of Fusionist is a turn-based strategy game where players control five mechs to attack and defend each other in turns, with the last surviving side being the victor.

With a team background from traditional gaming companies like Tencent, and having received investment from Binance earlier this year, the game's quality is essentially guaranteed, attracting attention in the market. The mech NFTs of the game, known as Quartan Primes, have seen an increase in base price and trading volume, currently priced at about 1 ETH.

The game has just concluded its second phase of public testing, and upon official release, the game will also be available on Steam.

Endurance Blockchain

In addition to developing the game, Fusionist has also set up its own blockchain network - Endurance, which aims to attract more players through blockchain incentive layer networks. Endurance went live on the mainnet in January this year.

According to the official whitepaper, Endurance is a high-performance sidechain focusing on digital entertainment, forked from Ethereum, compatible with EVM, serving as the incentive layer network for the Fusionist game, and will also serve as the underlying infrastructure for future community applications and game-related protocols.

ACE Token

Endurance uses ACE as the native token for various marketing activities to attract users and earn profits. These activities include rewarding users for completing tasks, participating in IEOs, and rewarding existing NFT holders through draws and incentives.

The ACE token has a total supply of 147 million, and the token distribution plan and unlocking schedule are as follows:

The allocation for the team and investors totals 37.5%, while the distribution for the community, airdrops, and mining rewards amounts to about 37.4%, with the remainder allocated for ecosystem development.

If the Endurance network's protocols generate revenue, 20% to 40% of the tokens will be burned as part of the ACE value capture mechanism.

Consideration of Token Impact on the Game: ACE

The game and token can be discussed separately, focusing on the game content and Web3 elements:

Based on the available information, Fusionist's technical aspects in game development have received widespread market recognition, and turn-based strategy games are common in game design. The game itself is not expected to raise major concerns, but further market testing is needed.

However, there are still many risks in the project's marketing methods and token design. Firstly, some ACE token reward activities began when the Endurance mainnet went live earlier this year, which, although garnering more attention, does not directly benefit the game itself. Secondly, the execution of the token's value capture mechanism remains to be seen, testing the long-term development results of the ecosystem, with many uncertainties for a new project.

Whether Fusionist can achieve its vision remains a challenge.
