BitBoy, the handheld Bitcoin device, is available for pre-order at $500, combining chain games, earning while playing, and hardware wallet features.

The Bitcoin-based gaming project Ordz Games announced earlier this month that it will launch a physical gaming console called "BitBoy One," integrating features such as Bitcoin-based gaming, play-to-earn capabilities, and a hardware wallet.

BitBoy One Handheld Gaming Console

The BitBoy One handheld console continues the classic design of the Nintendo Game Boy but with the iconic orange color of Bitcoin. It features a 3.45-inch 640×480 screen, 32GB internal storage, 256GB TF card, 4GB RAM, and a 3500 mAh battery with a battery life of approximately 6 hours when fully charged.

According to a report by Decrypt, given the ecosystem associated with Ordz Games, the rewards related to Chain Game are likely to be Bitcoin BRC-20 or Runes standard tokens, or possibly Bitcoin-inscribed Ordinals.

BitBoy also Functions as a Hardware Wallet

The BitBoy also supports wallet applications such as Xverse and Unisat, allowing users to manage their crypto assets through the system interface.

Ordz also mentioned that in the future, they will integrate decentralized infrastructure DePINs to enable users to mine tokens other than Bitcoin and run games from old consoles like PlayStation through the built-in emulator.

BitBoy Priced at $500

A representative of Ordz Games stated that the target price for the BitBoy is around $500, with pre-orders set to open in April and expected to be released before the end of the year.
