Arkham Data Analysis: Coinbase holds the most Bitcoin in the world, as much as Satoshi Nakamoto
The data analytics firm Arkham has reported finding $25 billion worth of Bitcoin reserves on-chain at Coinbase (approximately 1 million BTC).

World's Largest Holder of Coins, Coinbase Holds as Much as Satoshi Nakamoto
According to data analyzed by Arkham, Coinbase is now the largest organization in terms of Bitcoin holdings, accounting for nearly 5% of the total BTC supply, which is almost as much as Bitcoin's creator, Satoshi Nakamoto.
Arkham has identified and tagged over 36 million BTC deposit and holding addresses used by Coinbase, with their largest cold wallet holding around 10,000 BTC. Based on their recent financials, Coinbase may still have thousands of BTC yet to be tagged.
Arkham has now identified $25B of Coinbase Bitcoin reserves (~1M BTC) on chain.
