Creator Claims to be Consulted by Instagram
Creator Sean Williams posted on the 18th, stating that Instagram is using NFT creators to help them build an NFT platform.
He believes that Instagram is leveraging people in the NFT community to provide them with insights and advice. Williams thinks that Instagram is disguising a meeting supposedly to help creators as a high-level business consultation, and then paying them $1,000.
Williams mentioned that they were required to sign a non-disclosure agreement during the event, and were used for product development discussions with Instagram's senior management and development team, only to be asked to keep quiet afterward.
Williams shared the invitation he received and stated that he would not be underestimated in such a manner.
