Musk Update | Since 2019, Dogecoin team has provided a lot of suggestions, and the community speculated on entering the green energy mining industry? Twitter founder

Dogecoin developer Ross Nicoll stated that Elon Musk has been in constant communication with the team and providing suggestions since 2019. As Musk does not seem to have completely given up on Bitcoin, the community speculates another possibility: Tesla may enter the green energy mining sector and become a disruptor in the mining industry.

Encouraging Increased Dogecoin Throughput

Dogecoin developer Ross Nicoll spoke to Decrypt in an interview, stating that since 2019, Musk has provided a lot of advice, shared his extensive network, and continuously encouraged them to improve the trading throughput of Dogecoin. However, the development team politely declined his offer of funding.

Nicoll said:

The four Dogecoin developers, myself, Michi Lumin, Max Keller, Patrick, and Sporklin, are optimistic about Musk's assistance, which occurred after Musk changed his Twitter bio to "Former CEO of Dogecoin."

Earlier reports mentioned that the core developer Sporklin passed away on April 24 due to losing the battle with cancer.

Community Awaits Musk's Entry into Green Mining

Since the incident, whether it's the former CEO who bought coins to save the market, the MicroStrategy CEO who debated with Musk on whether mining is energy-intensive, or Bitcoin enthusiast Anthony Pompliano, all have slightly eased their concerns after Musk reiterated his strong belief in cryptocurrency and are hopeful that Musk and Tesla will take action.

Pompliano addressed Musk:

Just announce that you're going into green mining.

Anthony Scaramucci, founder of SkyBridge Capital, is confident that Musk will announce entry into green mining next year, becoming a disruptor in the Bitcoin mining industry. Although it's unclear who Scaramucci is betting against, he has placed a bet of 500,000 satoshis.

Jack Dorsey: No One, No Institution Can Change Bitcoin

Despite not having many opinions, Twitter founder Jack Dorsey finally commented on the matter. Previously, his company Square and Ark jointly released a white paper, discussing that renewable energy mining is the future, to which Musk also responded positively.

Musk's initial response has now become a point of community criticism. Many believe that Musk understands the potential shift of Bitcoin towards green mining in the future, and it's unlikely that he is unaware of the current energy consumption of Bitcoin. Tesla's adoption announcement followed by a sudden halt seems like a game with Bitcoin.

Although Square has recently stated that they have no plans to buy more Bitcoin, CFO Amrita Ahuja emphasized:

Our Bitcoin strategy has not changed. We have a firm commitment to the community, including working towards a more environmentally friendly future through our Bitcoin clean energy initiative. As we said in February, we will continue to assess our Bitcoin investment.

Jack Dorsey retweeted the post, stating:

Bitcoin changes everything... for the better, and we will always work to make Bitcoin better.

He seemed to imply, "No one or institution can alter or stop Bitcoin."
