Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken launches NFT marketplace! No gas fees regardless of market conditions?

The U.S. cryptocurrency exchange Kraken announced yesterday (8) that it has officially launched its NFT marketplace, offering over 250 series of NFT collectibles and supporting transactions across multiple blockchains. What's even more exciting is that the marketplace will not charge any Gas fees for buying and selling on its platform.

Kraken NFT Trading Platform Launched

According to the official announcement released yesterday, cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has revealed updates on its NFT market that it has been working on for some time, which is the official launch of the Kraken NFT market.

Previously, they had entered the beta phase in November last year, launching the public beta of their test network.

In the announcement, Kraken explained that with the public release of the platform, it will continue to expand its product range. The number of NFT series circulating on Kraken NFT has now increased from the original 70 in the test version to over 250, supporting networks including Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon.

Keeping Up with Market Trends

In addition to popular blue-chip NFTs like CryptoPunks or BAYC, Kraken also stated that it will track market trends and offer the most active NFT collections of the moment. This includes the recently integrated Reddit Collectible Avatars series via the Polygon network.

Furthermore, Kraken NFT aims to dispel the myth that NFTs are always high-priced by offering low-cost NFTs in the range of thousands, priced below $100, making them easily accessible to the general public.

Zero Gas Fee for All Transactions

One of the key features is that when buying or selling NFTs on Kraken NFT, users will not have to bear fluctuating gas fees, unlike transferring NFTs on the market. This applies to situations such as network congestion caused by FOMO or panic selling due to market downturns.

In contrast to platforms like Opensea and Blur where users have to pay gas fees in transactions, Kraken NFT aims to stand out in the competitive NFT trading market.

Focus on User Experience

Additionally, according to a report by nftnow, Kraken has implemented various features to enhance the user experience on its NFT market, making it easy for non-crypto-native users to utilize their services.

Users can choose from over 200 different fiat currencies or cryptocurrencies for their most convenient payment methods, providing the most flexible and personalized NFT trading experience. Currently, Kraken supports MetaMask and Solana's Phantom wallet, with plans to add WalletConnect in the future.
