Bitwise launches advertising NFT for Ethereum spot ETF

The issuer of the Ethereum spot ETF application, Bitwise, has released an advertisement introducing Ethereum, which will be minted as an NFT. 50% of the proceeds will be donated to the Protocol Guild created by Ethereum core contributors, and the remaining 50% will be distributed to two actors.

Big Finance Sleeps

Bitwise stated that their "Big Finance Sleeps" short film is the first nationwide television advertisement created in NFT format. The content features two characters - Big Finance and Ethereum having a conversation.

Big Finance is depicted as an elderly person wearing pajamas and business attire inside, symbolizing traditional finance. He starts working tirelessly at 9 am and claims to have handled billions of dollars throughout the day, feeling exhausted and ready to go to bed at 4 pm sharp.

On the other hand, Ethereum, a young man in casual clothes, claims to have also handled billions of dollars in stablecoins, NFTs, loans, and more, working non-stop 24 hours a day.

Big Finance is amazed by this revelation! However, Ethereum quickly tucks him in, saying that everyone is different, and Big Finance should rest well and return to work tomorrow.

But tomorrow is the weekend! Well, then rest until Monday!

Proceeds from NFT Ad to be Donated to Protocol Guild and Two Actors

Bitwise mentioned that 50% of the proceeds from the NFT will be donated to Protocol Guild, a collective financing mechanism created by core Ethereum contributors. The remaining 50% will be distributed to the two actors in the ad, Jamie Kaler and Michael Tacconi.

So far, the NFT has been minted 1,392 times, and Protocol Guild, Kaler, and Tacconi have earned 0.62 ETH, approximately $2,170 from the NFT.

This is another example of Ethereum's unique feature - providing fair and transparent rewards to creators.
