OKX Founder Star Wu: Users who interact with coin mixers will be expelled.

"Anyone depositing from Tornado Cash to OKX, or withdrawing from OKX to Tornado Cash, will trigger an account freeze, with no exceptions," stated Star Wu, founder of OKX, earlier.

"Anyone who deposits from Tornado Cash to OKX, or withdraws from OKX to Tornado Cash, will trigger an account clearance, with no exceptions," OKX founder Star Wu stated earlier.

This statement seems to be in response to compliance policies. Star Wu mentioned that aside from sanctioned users not being able to open accounts on OKX, for existing users, if funds from Garantex and Tornado Cash are deposited into OKX, or if withdrawals are made from OKX to sanctioned entities, it will trigger OKX's compliance policy, leading to account clearance.

Star Wu emphasized that regular users need not worry.

However, there are still voices in the community that feel a lack of clear standards and transparent regulations makes it difficult for them to truly understand OKX's risk policies. Previously, OKX had restricted activities for "whales" despite rules outlining OKX's authority, which left some users dissatisfied.

Exchanges also need to combat "witch hunts"? OKX Jumpstart restricts "whale" users, and inviting friends and family to participate in KYC may result in risk control.
