Introduction to the 2D Strategy Game "Legends of the Mara" in Otherside

According to the official introduction, "Legends of the Mara," referred to as LOTM, is a 2D strategy game focused on collection. The game's storyline will continue the development of the Otherside gaming experience and will use APE as the in-game token.

By playing LOTM, players will get to know the guardian of Koda Otherside better, including his origins and his relationship with Otherside, and will encounter new creatures called "Mara" while gaining a deeper understanding of the overall story of Otherside.

In early April, every Otherside landowner with an Otherdeed can claim meteorite fragments called "Vessel," which will randomly grant one of three functions: Enchanter, Farmer, or Hunter.

After a period of incubation, Vessel will give birth to a special creature called Mara in the world of LOTM, serving as a junior worker who can undertake specific tasks based on the original Vessel's attributes. For example, a Mage Mara can provide buffs and additional rewards, a Farmer Mara can collect fragments in Otherdeed, and a Hunter Mara can fend off threats to Otherdeed.

Both Vessel and Mara are ERC-721 tokens, part of a new NFT series that can be traded on the secondary market.

Unique Astronomical System in Otherside, Mara Can Evolve into Kodamara

In the world of Otherside, there is an exclusive astronomical system called Otherside Odiac, divided into four seasons: Creation, Evolution, Afterlife, and Abyss, each with five corresponding constellations.

In the summer of this year, the official will introduce "Seasonal Catalysts" that can evolve Mara into Kodamara, with each catalyst having attributes corresponding to the season's constellation. Only the rare "Mixed Catalyst" contains two constellation attributes.

Aside from constellation attributes, the fragments consumed by Mara from Otherdeed sediment will also affect the attributes of Kodamara. However, the official has not clearly explained the specific differences between Mara and Kodamara.
