The data platform DeFi Llama announced the launch of a Wikipedia-like platform on April 20th, emphasizing community-driven, neutral, and fair content. They have also released job openings for platform moderators, who will be offered Mod positions for significant content contributions in the future.

DeFi Llama stated on Twitter that most DeFi information is found in collective memory, Twitter, or news, which is temporary, hard to search, and quickly outdated.

The rapid flow of information leads to new projects repeating mistakes because they are not familiar with the history of DeFi, and new users also struggle to obtain relevant knowledge.

To address these pain points, DeFi Llama has decided to create a Wikipedia platform for cryptocurrencies to provide a solution through editable and centralized information, allowing users to easily understand brief descriptions of past events in DeFi projects.
