The crypto community @WazzCrypto first noticed unusual activity in Mark Cuban's wallet on the 16th at 7 am, marked as "Mark Cuban 2" on the EtherScan blockchain explorer.

When DL News informed Mark Cuban of the wallet activity, he learned about the hack. He stated:

This is the first time I've used MetaMask in months, they've definitely been watching.

Mark Cuban reportedly lost $870,000, including 5 ETH, as well as assets like USDC, stETH, and is in the process of transferring the remaining assets to Coinbase for custody.
