According to the official website of the Bitcoin Academy, the vision of Bitcoin is unobstructed, but the lack of financial education leads to obstacles. As a result, Bitcoin is still difficult to use in daily life. Therefore, the project aims to provide education, offer knowledge to the community, and eliminate barriers so that residents can have a better understanding of Bitcoin.
Jack Dorsey tweeted that this project is aimed at residents of the Marcy Houses in the Brooklyn area, where Jay-Z grew up. The project has received support from Najah J. Roberts (Crypto Blockchain Plug) and Lamar Wilson (Black Bitcoin Billionaire), who will also serve as instructors.
In his tweet, Jack Dorsey mentioned that Bitcoin is becoming an important tool for many people in Africa and Central and South America. He believes that the same potential exists in the United States. "Our goal is to prove that making it easier for people to use powerful tools can help them build greater independence." He believes that education is the starting point, not just about Bitcoin, but also about "long-term thinking, local economies, and confidence."

Jay-Z tweeted, "Salute to Jack, the Bitcoin Academy starts in Marcy, a place that taught me a lot, hopefully the first of many schools. The simple goal is to provide tools for people to build independence for themselves and their communities."
Shout out to @Jack. #Bitcoin Academy, starting in Marcy, a place that taught me so much, is hopefully the first of many. The simple goal is to provide people tools to build independence for themselves and then the community around them. https://t.co/4uHkCfdFZv
