Simplified Airdrop Verification Process
The latest update from MetaMask aims to simplify the process of tracking potential airdrops within the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
MetaMask recently announced on X: "We have partnered with Daylight to help users check if they are eligible for any airdrops within the ecosystem." It further explained: "Did your favorite decentralized app distribute tokens? Check 'Eligible Airdrops' to find out."
How to Check Airdrop Eligibility
Users can explore their eligibility for airdrops and NFT claims through the "Explore" feature in the MetaMask asset portfolio.
The Daylight API offers personalized NFT suggestions based on various social factors. These include whether users are on the eligible list, hold the required tokens, or have tokens related to the ones being offered.
Other considerations include whether users have minted another NFT from the same creator or if they follow someone on the social media platform Farcaster who has minted an NFT.
Support for Multiple Blockchains
This new feature supports a range of blockchains including Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, Base, Zora, and Polygon, enhancing its accessibility and utility for a diverse user base. Through this integration, MetaMask not only simplifies the verification process for current airdrops and NFT claims, but also significantly enriches the user experience by providing targeted, relevant opportunities based on individual blockchain activities.
