An image production company, Ice Cream Entertainment, based in California, USA, has produced a 3-minute short film depicting the dreams and tragedies that cryptocurrency enthusiasts may encounter in the industry.

The Beginning of a Nightmare

A young man excitedly planned the most expensive vacation in the world, while figuring out how to cash out his Bitcoin. Like many players in the cryptocurrency world, the young man watched online tutorials by influencers on how to step by step transfer Bitcoin from his wallet and cash it out on a cryptocurrency exchange.

"Copy the address, then paste it." The young man watched in horror as over 50,000 Bitcoins in his wallet were mistakenly sent to zero. The video then cut to the influencer explaining, "Remember this one thing! Before you hit send, always double-check if the address is correct."

When the young man returned to his own screen, he realized that he had actually missed copying the last letter of that address... Note: In reality, unless the address is valid, if the address is missing just one character, most platforms will detect it as invalid and the transfer cannot be completed.

For those familiar with cryptocurrency transfers, it is known that once a transfer with an incorrect address is sent, that amount of money will be irreversibly lost.
