The cryptocurrency exchange Bitrue, ranked 22 on CoinMarketCap, announced that its hot wallet was attacked on 4/14 at 15:18, with attackers withdrawing $23 million worth of ETH, QNT, GALA, SHIB, HOT, and MATIC.

Bitrue CEO was Taiwanese
Bitrue is an exchange established in 2018, with operations in Asia including Singapore and Taiwan. According to LinkedIn information, the CEO of Bitrue from 2018 to 2021 was Curis Wang, a graduate from National Taiwan University who previously worked at Cheetah Mobile. Currently, there is no new public information available on the CEO and team members of Bitrue.
