Vitalik's Twitter account hacked, phishing links leading to disaster, hackers taunt Vitalik
On the morning of 9/10, various well-known Twitter accounts were hacked, including the account of Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum. A phishing link was posted from his account, resulting in multiple victims. The post has since been deleted, and as of the deadline, Vitalik has not posted again.

Vitalik's Twitter Account Hacked, Multiple People Lose Funds and NFTs
Crypto influencer @cobie tweeted on 9/10 morning that Vitalik's Twitter account was hacked and noted that a post by Vitalik had been deleted.
According to posts from victims, Vitalik's Twitter account posted a claim post about claiming a Cosensys commemorative NFT, leading many to interact with the link and wallet, resulting in asset losses.

Hacker Profits Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars, NFTs Mock Vitalik
Online detective ZachXBT reported to the blockchain explorer Etherscan that the address had been flagged as a phishing address, with $360,000 at the time of writing; ZachXBT's records show funds in the address peaking at $690,000.
The address received substantial funds and NFTs, including CryptoPunk #3983 and other NFTs:

Cybersecurity Company: No One Is Safe
Cybersecurity firm Slowmist commented that if even Vitalik's Twitter account can be hacked, then no one is safe. Remember, many things that seem too good to be true are likely scams, so be cautious.
