The Taipei District Prosecutors Office recently summoned Taiwan's chief partner, Zhang Dongying, and two others. Zhang Dongying and senior lecturer Shi Yusheng were detained. After a trial at the Taipei District Court, Zhang Dongying was released on bail of 1.5 million NT dollars with restrictions on residence, travel, and leaving the country, while Shi Yusheng was released on bail of 500,000 NT dollars. The case involves investigation for violations of the Banking Act and money laundering.
As there are already victims who have filed complaints against JPEX spokesperson Chen Lingjiu, the prosecution has listed him as a defendant in the investigation.
