Legislator Tseng Ming-tsung stated that in the current legislative discussions, due to concerns regarding consumer protection in financial transactions involving virtual assets, as well as the unclear definitions in financial investment and payment, he believes that special legislation should not be passed. If financial consumer protection is not adequately addressed, progress will be limited and unsustainable.
