Dogecoin Universe Taking Shape? Shiba Inu Coin, Akita Inu Coin Double Overnight! Musk: Dogecoin is Like Elon

As the time for Elon Musk to host Saturday Night Live approaches, and with his recent tweets boosting Dogecoin, the Dogecoin universe is gradually taking shape. Various meme coins including Dogecoin, Shiba Inu (SHIB), and Akita Inu (AKITA) have seen significant price surges. Musk even tweeted that Dogecoin feels like a "stimulus check" he gives to the people.

Dog-themed Cryptocurrencies Soaring

Since entering May, the percentage increases of dog-themed cryptocurrencies before the deadline are as follows:

  • Shiba Inu SHIB: 313%
  • Akita Inu AKITA: 163%
  • Dogecoin DOGE: 126%

Interestingly, Dogecoin has the lowest increase. On May 7th, there was a report of a 70% surge in Shiba Inu, which has since risen by approximately 215%.

This led exchanges OKEx and Huobi to quickly announce the listing of Shiba Inu, the rising star in the dog-themed cryptocurrency universe.

Additionally, Elon Musk made an interesting comment on Twitter.

Musk's Stimulus Check: Dogecoin

Fan @itsALLrisky, referring to Dogecoin as the "people's currency," tweeted:

I feel like Dogecoin is the stimulus check Elon Musk personally issued for the people...

The slogan on the man's shirt in the image reads: "Dogecoin brings hope to the pandemic-infected and beyond. Fight back."

Musk responded to @itsALLrisky's tweet, stating:

I feel that way too.

How Much Would You Have Earned with the Stimulus Check?

Since the $1,200 stimulus check sent by the U.S. in March last year, Dogecoin has surged by approximately 42,000%, which would now be worth around $504,000 if invested immediately.

However, the rise of Shiba Inu has also caught the attention of many investors. SNL (Saturday Night Live) is set to air on Sunday, May 9th, at 11:30 am Taiwan time, with Musk stating in the preview: "I won't tell you what I'm going to do."

Perhaps the surge in the dog-themed cryptocurrency universe is not over yet.
