Mexico's third richest man: "Buy Bitcoin, and don't sell it, you will thank me later!"

The third richest man in Mexico, Ricardo Salinas Pliego, who is a big fan of Bitcoin, suggests everyone to continue buying Bitcoin. He said, "Buy Bitcoin, don't sell it, you will thank me later!"

Ricardo Salinas Pliego offered some advice on investing in Bitcoin on the 19th. He mentioned that the current price is still low, suggesting to continue purchasing and holding it without considering selling. "Believe me, you will thank me later," he confidently stated.

Salinas is the founder and chairman of Mexico's Grupo Salinas, a company that invests in telecommunications, media, financial services, and retail. According to Forbes' billionaire list, Ricardo Salinas Pliego's net worth currently exceeds $13 billion.

This is not the first time Ricardo Salinas Pliego has strongly recommended buying Bitcoin. In June last year, he stated that Bitcoin is an asset with extraordinary properties, "For me, all the advantages of Bitcoin make it the gold of the modern world."

Furthermore, Ricardo Salinas Pliego often questions fiat currencies and even refers to them as fraudulent. He mentioned that governments do not like Bitcoin because "it allows people to escape the fiat trap, to get rid of fiat money, a fraud."

In December of last year, he urged his followers again to "stay away from fiat money. The dollar, the euro, the yen, or the peso, they are all the same story. They are fake money made of paper and lies. More money has been printed by central banks than ever before. Invest in Bitcoin."
