Stephen Curry ventures into the world of cryptocurrency, asking on Twitter: "Any suggestions?"
NBA star Stephen Curry seems to be venturing further into the crypto space after purchasing NFT artwork from the Bored Ape Yacht Club. He reached out for advice on Twitter, and many crypto experts and projects offered their suggestions.
Curry's current Twitter profile picture is from his purchase on 8/28 of a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT for 55 ETH (around $180,000 at the time), and he also acquired another Kennel Club NFT for 5.7 ETH. Today, he tweeted:
Just getting started in the crypto space, any advice for me??

Steph, I spent over a thousand hours researching and choosing Bitcoin. To date, I have purchased over $3 billion worth of Bitcoin because I believe it is the future of digital assets. I have published a lot of free Bitcoin educational resources on my website, and you can also DM me directly.

Larry Cermak
Foreign media The Block's research director Larry Cermak stated that he has been providing pro bono advisory services to players in the league and is also happy to discuss the best learning resources for beginners in cryptocurrency.
Some questioned whether NBA players, with their ability to make money, need "free" advice. Larry explained:
The problem is that stars are used to spending big money but getting pretty terrible advice. Curry can afford anything, and I don't need money either, so free advice is feasible and most effective for both parties. For NBA players, the hardest part is starting with something that no one recommends. My last advisee almost invested in cloud mining because people kept pitching it and claimed it was a good project.
Bankless
Crypto research institution Bankless showed off a previous interview with Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and urged Curry to subscribe to their podcast to gain new knowledge.
