According to a report by Coindesk, the music streaming platform Spotify is testing a new feature called "Token-enabled Playlists," allowing users who hold specific NFTs to link their blockchain wallets to Spotify and access exclusive music playlists.
Currently, holders of NFTs from the Fluf, Moonbirds, Kingship, and Overlord communities can test this feature through designated links. During the three-month testing period, the music in the exclusive playlists will be continuously updated.
Additionally, according to a tweet by Kingship on Twitter, the process for using this feature is as follows:
- Clicking the play button on the exclusive playlist will prompt wallet linking options.
- Choose the wallet to use and agree to link it to Spotify.
- Start listening to the music in the playlist.
However, this feature is currently only available to Android users in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand. Spotify has not disclosed further details about the future development of this initiative.
