BabySwap launches ChainGame! How to let your baby mine and make money for you? What is the payback period and tokenomics?

In July this year, the DEX platform BabySwap launched on the Binance Smart Chain has shown mediocre market performance since its debut. However, many speculative GameFi tokens can be exchanged on its platform. Starting from this week, the platform's token BABY has seen a significant increase in price and active user count, possibly due to its newly launched Play-to-Earn game "TheCryptoYou."

BabySwap Platform Introduction

However, this platform has its unique "Trade Mining" feedback mechanism, where a portion of the trading fees will be converted into Baby as trading rewards, which can be withdrawn by clicking on Withdraw.

Furthermore, the platform also offers various liquidity pools for users to provide liquidity, and the LP tokens obtained can be staked to earn BABY tokens as rewards. Upon closer inspection, BabySwap also provides many liquidity pools for GameFi platform tokens, chain game tokens, and many other speculative projects, making it a gathering place for "altcoins" on the Binance Smart Chain.

If one is averse to the potential Impermanent Loss risk from liquidity pools, they can also stake single assets to earn BABY token rewards, with most single asset staking rewards currently above 60%.

Although BabySwap seems to feature many tokens with higher speculative nature, the platform itself has been audited by the auditing firm Certik with a security score of 95. However, this does not mean the platform is immune to risks; it only indicates that it meets certain security standards.

As BabySwap's platform functionalities gradually become complete, it officially launched its first blockchain game integrated with the platform last Sunday - The Crypto You. While nominally a game, it is more like NFT mining combined with a simple battle mechanism to earn profits. These types of chain games generally have lower gameplay, require less time, and offer higher profits for early adopters, but due to their concept similar to Ponzi schemes, one must be cautious of the potential token collapse.

Baby NFT Minting

To play this game, one must first mint the Baby NFT used in the game. The cost to mint once is 50 BABY tokens, with a maximum of 5 per day. BABY tokens can be purchased on platforms such as BabySwap or PancakeSwap.

Baby NFT Introduction

The minted Baby NFTs are divided into three grades: SSR (2 types), SR (4 types), R (6 types), with probabilities of 5%, 26%, and 69% respectively. Each character has 6 basic attributes: Strength, Stamina, Health, Courage, Agility, and Spirit, along with their own class: Warrior, Assassin, Healer, Mage, Archer. Initially minted Baby NFTs are all level 1, and can be upgraded to level 10 using in-game tokens MILK and BABY.

Baby NFT Mining

Currently, the game only offers Baby NFT mining, where rarity and ability values do not affect mining speed. By clicking on "Daily Mining," you can access the mining interface, where the leftmost "Milk Station" allows all minted Baby NFTs to mine.

By sending any level 1 Baby to the Milk Station for mining, you can produce approximately 288 MILK tokens per day, around $20. The cost of minting a Baby NFT is 50 BABY tokens, about $150, and the payback period is approximately a week. The MILK tokens obtained from mining after a week will be passive income for users.

In addition to selling the MILK tokens obtained from mining in the market for income, they can also be used to upgrade Baby NFTs. Upgraded Baby NFTs can mine in higher-yield pools and have increased mining rates. This method reduces the willingness of players to sell MILK tokens in their possession, reducing selling pressure.

The mining interface also displays the current values and mining rewards of the Baby NFTs, and clicking on Claim Reward allows you to receive MILK tokens.

To prevent players from dumping MILK tokens in the market after mining and causing token economy collapse, a balance mechanism has been set up to help stabilize prices, controlled by the price ratio between BABY and MILK tokens. In simple terms, the higher the price of BABY tokens, the lower the price of MILK tokens, resulting in fewer MILK tokens obtained from mining.

PVE and Treasure Chest Functionality

Despite all this, what are the uses of character rarity and values? As the game is still in its early stages, mining functionality is currently the only one open to provide players with fixed income. PVE mode will be introduced in the future, allowing players to earn more rewards such as MILK, BABY tokens, and keys through battles. The keys obtained from PVE can be used to open treasure chests in the game, and the equipment obtained from the chests can be used to enhance the abilities of BABY NFTs.

Gameplay Recommendations

This type of chain game is relatively easy to operate and does not require much time, but it carries a higher gambling nature. Based on similar games in the past, their lifespan is around two months, with early adopters having the potential to earn higher profits. However, aside from being supported by its own game economic model, The Crypto You also benefits from the DeFi features of the BabySwap platform, creating a certain demand for BABY tokens, which may extend the game's lifespan.
