According to an official blog post released by Nike yesterday (6), Nike Virtual Studios has announced a new partnership with EA Sports to enhance global sports and entertainment enthusiasts with personalized and immersive virtual gaming experiences.
Cointelegraph notes that this move aims to introduce millions of EA platform and Nike fans to cryptocurrency technology in a more accessible and lifestyle-oriented way. It is speculated that Nike may appear in games in the form of virtual footwear and clothing, including integrating their physical best-selling products into the game as NFTs, although no specific details have been disclosed by both parties.
