According to an interview published on Tuesday in Bloomberg Businessweek, Trump plans to release his fourth NFT series. Earlier this year, Trump's NFT series "Donald Trump Digital Trading Card" quickly sold out, with floor prices reaching 0.1 ETH and a high of 0.675 ETH.

Trump Campaign Team: Embracing Cryptocurrency Raised Millions

In May of this year, Trump's campaign team began accepting cryptocurrency donations. The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday citing new data from the Federal Election Commission (FEC) that Trump's campaign raised $331 million in the last quarter, with around $3 million coming from cryptocurrency donations. As the crypto industry continues to support Trump's campaign, the former president and current presidential candidate is increasingly embracing NFTs and cryptocurrency.

Trump's Shift, Industry Titans in Cryptocurrency Support

Trump chose Ohio Senator J.D. Vance, who is friendly towards cryptocurrency, as his vice president. At just 39 years old, Vance, who only joined the Senate last year, is supportive of the cryptocurrency industry and critical of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). He is also a Bitcoin holder himself.

Co-founder of Kraken Jesse Powell, Gemini co-founders Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss have all expressed their support by donating significant funds to Trump.

Trump was once a skeptic of cryptocurrency, but with the influx of campaign funds, he told Bloomberg that he has shifted to embracing the industry, stating that if the U.S. does not do so, China will take over.
