Nike's Web3 creation platform ".SWOOSH" is now open for membership! The platform will release its first virtual product soon.

To celebrate Nike's 50th anniversary, Nike launched the Web3 ecosystem platform ".SWOOSH" last year, aiming to promote the experience of virtual products in a simple way to customers with limited experience in the Web3 field. After more than half a year of testing, it is currently open to some users and is expected to launch its first virtual collectible series soon.

According to a previous introduction article, ".SWOOSH" aims to become the main hub for Nike's virtual creations, where users can buy, showcase, and trade physical or virtual products.

"Co-creation" will be one of the core elements of Dot Swoosh, where people can participate in designing elements such as voting for shoelaces or colors, or selling their own creations to earn royalties. Additionally, users can create their own ".nike" domain to showcase or sell products.

After today's official website update, Nike further clarified what users can do on .SWOOSH, including:

  1. Create, collect, trade, and showcase: Users can showcase and trade their virtual products after creating them, as well as showcase Nike's virtual products such as wearable items in games and immersive experiences on the platform.
  2. Unlock special benefits: Obtain special benefits and content, and pre-order upcoming airdrops.
  3. Build the ecosystem with the Nike community: Collaborate with other .SWOOSH members to complete community challenges and collectively create the next generation of Nike virtual creative products.
  4. Participate in Nike events: Participate in virtual and physical Nike events, have the chance to meet Nike athletes and designers, and join fans in shaping Nike culture.

Note: The .SWOOSH official website currently does not support Taiwan, and a VPN is required to access it.

How to Join as a Member of .SWOOSH

After all that information, how can one become a member of .SWOOSH?

As .SWOOSH is currently in a closed testing phase, an invitation code is required to join, but CloneX holders have priority registration eligibility.

Once you have the invitation code, log in to your Nike account and enter the code to become a member, and receive an exclusive .SWOOSH ID NFT. If you do not have an invitation code, you can also join the waiting list on the "Join" page.

The First Virtual Collection by .SWOOSH to Launch on Polygon Soon

In addition to further explaining .SWOOSH's future goals, Nike has also announced the upcoming launch of the first virtual collection series, which will be released on Polygon. However, the specific products have not been disclosed.
