Sotheby's launches NFT trading platform! Offering works from top artists along with full descriptions
After entering the metaverse world at the end of 2021, auction house giant Sotheby's today launched a secondary market for digital artworks. Users can not only learn about the background of various artists and works on the platform, but also conduct art transactions using cryptocurrency.

Introduction to Sotheby's NFT Marketplace
According to Sotheby's Metaverse on Twitter, their launched secondary market allows users to collect and trade digital artworks, where artists are categorized and carefully selected by Sotheby's experts.
The platform currently features works from 13 top artists available for trading, offering detailed introductions to each artist and their works for users to explore art pieces of interest.
Upon finding desired artworks for purchase, users need to log in and connect their wallets to proceed with buying, selling, and bidding. The platform conducts on-chain payments using cryptocurrencies on Ethereum and Polygon networks, with a 2.5% seller fee applied to transactions.
