Rakuten Monkeys opens the gateway to Taiwan's metaverse e-commerce, launching the first wave of Rakuten Girls NFTs.

The topic of metaverse and NFT is hot. Following the announcement of Rakuten NFT service by Japan's Rakuten Group at the end of February and the unveiling of the first batch of projects, today (3/15), Taiwan's Rakuten Market announced a collaboration with Rakuten Monkeys and ACE, a leading virtual currency exchange, to launch a limited edition Rakuten Monkeys NFT (Non-fungible token). The three parties join hands to create a Taiwan-exclusive "Monkey" universe, making it the first Chinese Professional Baseball NFT in Taiwan's history. It also marks the official entry of Taiwan's e-commerce into the democratization year of NFT, allowing consumers to easily purchase NFT on Rakuten Market. The first wave on 3/18 introduces the most sought-after NFT in Taiwan - the "Rakuten Girls NFT Membership Card", featuring special rotating cube design, fun blind box airdrops, and an empowerment program, allowing fans of Rakuten Girls and Rakuten Monkeys to go crazy collecting.
