According to documents filed with the SEC by Activision Blizzard last Friday, Daniel Alegre plans to resign and seek other job opportunities after the current term ends. His term is expected to end on March 31 next year, at which point he will join Yuga Labs as the new CEO.

Daniel Alegre joined Activision Blizzard in April 2020 and has been involved in the development of popular games such as World of Warcraft, Diablo, Candy Crush, and Overwatch during his tenure. He also worked at Google for over 16 years, holding various managerial positions.

After Daniel Alegre joins Yuga Labs next year, MAYC #3850 will serve as the embodiment of his Web3 world, while the current CEO Nicole Muniz will become a partner and strategic advisor to the company after stepping down.

"Yuga Labs, home to projects like BAYC, Cryptopunks, and Otherside, is a creative force driving Web3 innovation and storytelling. I am excited to lead the team into the next stage of growth." Daniel Alegre said.
