Otherside claims that the Dutch auction of land is a scam! All sold using 305 ApeCoin.

The highly anticipated Otherside land auction will officially commence at 9:00 AM on May 1st, Taiwan time. However, the officials believe that the discussion volume surrounding this auction has been excessively high. In order to avoid a severe gas war, they have decided to cancel the original Dutch auction system.

All Land to be Sold at Fixed Price

According to the official announcement today, Otherside Land will be sold at a fixed price of 305 ApeCoin each. A total of 55,000 pieces of land can be minted across all KYC wallets, with an initial purchase limit of 2 pieces of land per wallet.

However, if Gas Fees return to normal levels during the land minting process and the number of users minting decreases, the official team will increase the minting limit for each wallet. All updates will be announced on their Twitter and Discord.

In addition, ApeCoin authorization for pre-verified wallets will be available from 9:00 PM Taiwan time on 4/30, with the official sale starting 12 hours later.

"The NFT Dutch auction is actually a bluff, this method has not successfully addressed the demand, and Gas wars are inevitable even in the highly anticipated land minting process." The OtherSide team stated.

Teaser Trailer Already Revealed

In the teaser trailer released by Yuga Labs on 3/19, the doorplate of their yacht club prominently displays the number 305. Perhaps the team had already decided on the price for land sales, but the significance of this 305 remains to be answered.
