LV collaborates with Yayoi Kusama again! Rumored to release 10,000 pieces of NFTs convertible into physical goods?

International luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton has once again teamed up with the iconic Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama to celebrate LV's 200th anniversary. According to The Crypto Times, the two parties will collaborate to release 10,000 NFTs, which will be available on OpenSea. Holders will be able to redeem the NFTs for classic LV physical goods, although the official announcement has not been made public yet.

Yayoi Kusama, the Queen of Polka Dots

Yayoi Kusama, the iconic 93-year-old Japanese artist, is undoubtedly one of the most whimsical and commercially savvy artists of our time. Known globally for her polka dots, pumpkins, and infinity mirror rooms, Kusama's work is vibrant, psychedelic, and enchanting. She has exhibited alongside Andy Warhol and was named one of the "Top 10 Contemporary Artists of the 21st Century" by the American art website My Modern Met.

This collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Yayoi Kusama comes after a 10-year hiatus. Their first collaboration in 2012, under the creative direction of Marc Jacobs, featured Kusama's iconic polka dots on LV bags. Experts estimate that the NFTs released this time will cost around 4 ETH, but official details have not been announced yet.
