Azuki DAO Previously Claimed to Transition

Azuki DAO was established by 20000E DAO and former Azuki community members, not by the official Azuki team.

According to a report, Azuki DAO announced at the end of November that it would withdraw the lawsuit against Azuki founder ZAGABOND, rebranding as "Bean," and transitioning the DAO into a meme coin project, issuing $Bean.

It stated that it will become a part of the Ethereum Layer2 Blast ecosystem in the future. Developers also claimed to have received $10 million in funding from "well-known investors."

Azuki DAO Official Website Hacked? Victims in Taiwan

The transition of Azuki DAO seems to have only been reported by Cointelegraph, and the official website included indirectly contributed to the occurrence of this fraud.

Victims from the Azuki Taiwan community this morning on 12/8 stated that due to mistakenly clicking on the fraudulent website in the report and interacting with the wallet, Azuki NFTs and BEANZ with golden features in the wallet were hacked.

There are also community calls on Twitter to be cautious of fraudulent links.

No Response from Azuki DAO

It is understood that the report clicked by the victims in Taiwan was compiled from Cointelegraph, so the "official website URL" is consistent with what Cointelegraph provided.

However, Azuki DAO's Twitter and TG are almost non-functional, and it is incomprehensible why the media specifically reported this incident.

Azuki DAO's Discord group requests users to link their wallets during the initial verification process, which is a key step where victims in Taiwan were hacked.

However, Azuki DAO has not responded to this matter at all. If the official website and Twitter were hacked and malicious links were embedded, hackers did not specifically post to "urge" users to interact with the wallet. There are no signs of Azuki DAO being hacked from the beginning. Was Azuki DAO created for a Rug Pull all along?
