Beeple launches NFT platform WENEW, featuring British tennis legend Andy Murray

Highly priced NFT artist-created NFT platform WENEW launched its first auction on July 3rd: "ANDY MURRAY x WIMBLEDON", featuring the iconic moment of "Great Britain's Hope" tennis player Andy Murray winning over Novak Djokovic at the 2013 Wimbledon Tennis Championships. This NFT series boasts high quality textures and added value, following the style of Beeple's NFT products.

Winning Moment at Wimbledon + Playing Tennis with Andy Murray

This NFT series consists of five editions, with only the first edition "ANDY MURRAY WINS WIMBLEDON 2013" being auctioned, with a current bid of $20,000 at the time of writing. The winner will not only own the NFT but also receive a physical dynamic frame. What's even cooler is that they will have the opportunity to play 30 minutes of tennis with Andy Murray, along with two tickets to the 2022 Wimbledon Men's Final and other valuable physical perks.

The other four editions are priced with different additional values:

Beeple's Flow NFT Platform

If you are familiar with Beeple's "Everyday 2020 Collection!", you will know that Beeple places NFT digital artworks inside physical frames.

He refers to them as "Physical Tokens," which are placed inside physical frames with small digital screens. The dynamic digital artwork will play in a loop. Behind the frame, there is a titanium alloy label with a verification code that can verify the unique owner on the blockchain. Beeple states that this is a more passive way to appreciate digital artwork.

The NFTs released by WENEW follow the same format, where in addition to the digital file and certificate, there are Physical Artifacts as tangible art pieces. Furthermore, WENEW's NFT digital files will also be uploaded to the decentralized storage platform Arweave to ensure the traceability of the files.
