Sound-based NFT | Taiwanese team Pluto launches interactive music NFT, establishing a Web3 music community

The Taiwanese NFT team Pluto HipHop Dept. has chosen music NFT as its theme, allowing the application to be presented within the NFT itself, rather than just being a visual certificate. Pluto HipHop Dept. (PHHD) stated that they aim to establish a music community in the web3 and NFT world, and develop interesting music NFT applications to make it easier for more people to enter and experience the joy of creating music.

Sound-based NFT: Collectibles for Creating Music

Richard Chen, a partner at the well-known venture capital firm 1confirmation, mentioned in an interview in January 2022 that although music NFTs have not taken off yet, the growth in trading volume is indeed surprising, and there may be an explosion in 2022. Catalog, a platform that issues digital music NFTs in which 1confirmation has invested, and OurSong in Taiwan, which offers online singers the opportunity to release song-related NFTs, as well as the ASMR NFT platform Xtingles, are some examples.

The sound-based NFT created by the Taiwanese team PHHD adds interactivity directly to the NFT itself. The concept is inspired by the DJ sampler, where pressing the keyboard displayed on the NFT will produce the corresponding rhythm. It is an interactive music NFT that can be created and played on Opensea directly.

The interactive music NFT by PHHD can be interacted with directly using a computer keyboard. The numbers 1 to 9 represent different drum loops, while the bottom row of the keyboard (Z to M) contains music samples, the second-to-last row (A to L) represents notes, and the second row includes various sound effects, some with special visual effects. Each NFT will have its unique effects, with up to five exclusive sound effects based on rarity. The visual design incorporates elements of multiple well-known hip-hop artists. Collectors who own the NFTs can access the exclusive recording studio on the official website and create their music using different drum sets, melodies, and the unique sound effects of each NFT. In the future, PHHD plans to collaborate with more creators and NFT projects to launch exclusive joint recording studios, offering more exclusive benefits such as free interactive music NFTs, offline hip-hop gatherings, etc. For more information, join the Discord community.
