According to a report, the partnership will focus on a series of advertisements. UnitedCoin will become a sponsor of the Cavaliers and the "official cryptocurrency partner" of the company. The UnitedCoin logo will also appear outside the Cavaliers' home arena.

UnitedCoin is a cryptocurrency exchange registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Its main services include cryptocurrency-related transactions, which can be completed through email or phone. Additionally, UnitedCoin has partnered with Mastercard to launch a debit card that allows consumers to spend cryptocurrency at any accepting merchant.

Founder and CEO of UnitedCoin, Derek Jones, commented on the partnership:

This partnership is a great opportunity to introduce our blockchain platform to the fans of the Cavaliers and esports team, educate them on the benefits of cryptocurrencies, and provide a secure and reliable alternative to cash.

UnitedCoin will gain more exposure in the future through NBA 2K esports leagues, team social media channels, and the upcoming 2019-20 season.

As previously reported by ABM, the Miami Dolphins recently announced Litecoin as the team's official cryptocurrency, which will be featured in the Dolphins' games and various advertisements. In July of this year, the European football club SL Benfica also announced that they will accept Bitcoin and Ethereum payments, becoming the first European football club to allow cryptocurrency purchases of its merchandise.

With Bitcoin's strong performance this year, the cryptocurrency industry is on the rise again, and some cryptocurrency companies are seeking mainstream recognition. Sponsoring professional sports events has become one of the options to attract the attention of a large fan base.
