Ethereum founder: has applied for the "VOICE" beta version, looking forward to future developments

After the recent chaos of YouTube taking down cryptocurrency-related videos, the monopoly of centralized platforms has sparked heated discussions in the crypto community once again, with some even starting to look for alternative platforms outside of YouTube.

This event has also caught the attention of Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, who expressed great interest in "VOICE," a decentralized social media platform.

"Voice," a Social Media Platform Built on EOS

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin showed no reservation about his main competitor EOS releasing a test version of "VOICE" on February 14 next year, expressing his anticipation on Twitter:

Applied for the test version access, looking forward to seeing the project's innovations.

Block. One, the company behind EOS, CEO Brendan Blumer also responded to Vitalik's tweet, stating:

We value your feedback greatly. While we may not solve all issues on day one, we'll initially focus on transparency, coordination between users and the platform, and returning value to content creators.

As reported by ABM earlier, Voice will be defined as a new social platform that aims to create a healthy economic cycle for the entire ecosystem with the Voice token, addressing the increasingly serious privacy data issues. Voice claims that the project will tackle the long-standing issue of imbalance of interests on current social platforms.

It seems that with the arrival of Christmas, various project parties have temporarily set aside their opposing positions. As previously reported by ABM, Vitalik responded to criticisms of Ethereum being too centralized and shifted the focus to Binance, pointing out:

Binance's Binance DEX claims to be a decentralized exchange, but there is little "decentralization" to speak of.

Binance founder CZ also responded, stating that there is no such thing as absolute decentralization, as long as a project has a core team, it is bound to have centralization. The next day, the BNB/ETH trading pair was listed on Binance DEX.
