OKX Asset Outflow Situation
In terms of asset value, the overall asset value monitored by OKX decreased by nearly $900 million in a single day, although the quantity of tokens remained almost unchanged. Furthermore, looking at the asset changes from June 1 to June 11, the overall asset value increased by nearly $400 million.
Over the past three months, the quantity of tokens has not decreased but has been continuously increasing. However, this could also be due to the increase in non-mainstream assets to make up for the outflow of mainstream assets.
Looking at the asset depreciation on different chains, the assets that have depreciated the most on OKX are the platform token OKB, followed by BTC and ETH.
In recent years, OKX has rebranded and launched the OKX Web3 wallet, leading the Bitcoin ecosystem trend. Coupled with its optimized user experience, OKX has continued to see growth in its user market. However, the official response time and completeness of this security event have also been criticized by some in the community. Users in Taiwan have not reported similar incidents so far.
