Dumb but effective! Coins that rise with just one sentence: DOGE, FTM, SOL, CHZ
"This coin is skyrocketing!? Why?" When cryptocurrencies surge significantly in a short period of time, people are eager to find answers; however, when you ask those who are riding the trend for their reasons for buying in, the explanation is surprisingly simple. Sometimes, the crypto market readily accepts simple narratives, surpassing the analytical approach that relies on logical data.
Twitter personality @SplitCapital remarked over the weekend when a sudden and inexplicable surge hit: "This is dumb, but it works every time."

Coins that Surge with Just One Line
@SplitCapital indicates that the "thematic discourse" in the crypto world often seems silly, such as:
- Because Musk bought Twitter, so be bullish on DOGE Dogecoin
- Because of Halloween, so be bullish on FTM, which sounds like Phantom and has a ghostly meaning
- Because of the summit, so be bullish on SOL
- Because of the World Cup, so be bullish on CHZ, issuing many fan tokens for football teams
@SplitCapital thinks that despite his reluctance to admit it, these simply foolish discourses always seem to work.
Results Still Show a Significant Surge
- "What's the connection between Dogecoin and Twitter?" Many might wonder, but the simplest logic is that Musk acquired Twitter, and Musk supports Dogecoin. Regardless of the extent of the association, Dogecoin has been on the rise since last Tuesday, 10/25, with a seven-day increase of over 100%. Additionally, as one rises, all rise, and SHIB Shiba Inu coin has also surged, with a 21% increase in the past seven days.
- FTM has seen a 16% increase in the past seven days. The Fantom public chain has not announced any major news. Among all public chains, it ranks tenth in locked assets TVL, with assets growing only 2% in the past seven days.
- SOL has seen a 16% increase in the past seven days. Solana ranks eighth in locked assets TVL among all public chains, with a 6% increase in assets over the past seven days, but has fallen nearly 30% in the past 30 days.
- CHZ has seen a 25% increase in the past seven days. There was a testnet update on 10/24, and sporadic news has been released in the past week, but Twitter interactions have only numbered in the hundreds.
In summary, BTC has risen by 6% in the past seven days, and ETH has risen by 18%. Other small coins have also surged significantly, which is not surprising in the crypto market. It's just a matter of which topics happen to keep up, making the increase seem relatively larger.
"It may seem foolish, but it always seems to work."
