"Wild Man No. 7 Tribe" Host Suspected of Purchasing Marijuana
According to a report by ETtoday, the photographer known as "Keqi," who previously co-hosted the online show "Wild Man No. 7 Tribe" with the entertainer KID, is suspected of purchasing marijuana using USDT online. Police found marijuana, marijuana e-liquids, and water pipes at his residence after a search.
Keqi stated that he purchased the marijuana through a friend online and used cryptocurrency for payment.
Police indicated that during the search of Keqi's residence in Zhonghe, they discovered 1.5 grams of marijuana, 2 doses of LSD, 3 marijuana grinders, 2 marijuana e-liquids, 3 marijuana water pipes, and 1 can of marijuana oil. He was subsequently transferred to the New Taipei District Prosecutors Office for investigation on drug-related charges.
Keqi mentioned that between June last year and April of this year, he conducted 8 transactions with a drug source online, totaling 3,983 USDT, approximately 120,000 New Taiwan Dollars. After the payment was made, the drug dealer would hide the marijuana somewhere and inform the buyer of the location through a messaging app, creating a transaction break point for the buyer to retrieve the drugs.
