Robotaxi Like Airbnb, Can Generate Passive Income
Ark Invest, a strong supporter of Tesla, has released its expected value for the year 2029, at $2,600 per share. The main driver behind Tesla's nearly 90% increase in enterprise value and profits is the Robotaxi business.
Ark Invest bets on Tesla hitting $2,600 in 2029, Musk: Challenging but achievable!
Musk also echoed this sentiment at the shareholders' meeting, stating that the market value of Robotaxi could reach $5-7 trillion. Based on this alone, the company's value could increase by 10 times, or even more than 10 times.
Musk mentioned that Robotaxi is like Airbnb or Uber, where Tesla owners can allow their vehicles to join a shared fleet, enabling their cars to earn income for them while they work or relax.
Optimus Humanoid Robot
During the shareholders' meeting, Musk talked extensively about the Optimus humanoid robot, calling it a very challenging product due to the lack of a mature supply chain for its components, making it a high entry barrier for startups. However, Tesla has the brand, cash flow, AI, hardware, and even factories for economies of scale production. Musk stated that Optimus will start working in Tesla's factories next year and optimistically estimated its market value to be $25 trillion.
Note: Ark Invest's report suggests that general humanoid robots represent approximately $24 trillion in global revenue opportunities, with about 50% coming from the manufacturing industry.
In addition, Musk also generously announced during the shareholders' meeting that the Full Self-Driving (FSD) system will be free to use in the first quarter, and that the Cybertruck will reach a production rate of 2,500 vehicles per week by the end of this year, with a future annual production capacity of 130,000 vehicles.
