LINE Taiwan Techpulse 2022 Developer Conference: Embracing the Metaverse, DOSI NFT Marketplace to Launch in the First Quarter of the Year!

The 6th edition of LINE Taiwan Developer Conference, "LINE TAIWAN TECHPULSE 2022," officially kicked off today (19th), starting a rich 2-day agenda. This year, the conference is held online for the first time through LINE MUSIC LIVE, integrating the concept of the metaverse and creating a grand Starship stage. Over the two days, 35 speakers will embody LINE virtual avatars, leading developers on a technological journey in the virtual world. In today's keynote session, LINE shared significant growth and development achievements in audiovisual applications amidst the pandemic, as well as how the LINE Taiwan engineering team enhances developers' efficiency using data management and sharing platforms to meet the rapidly increasing user demands due to changes in user behavior. Furthermore, LINE unveiled the development plan for the LINE Global NFT Market—DOSI, set to launch in the first quarter of this year, officially announcing LINE's entry into the metaverse era.

NFT Market: DOSI to Launch in Q1 This Year

Having been involved in the blockchain field for many years, LINE unveiled the NFT Market in Japan last June. At this year's developers' conference, LINE announced that the Global NFT Market, DOSI, developed by LINE's blockchain and NFT subsidiary LINE NEXT, will officially launch in the first quarter of this year. The platform is now accepting reservations from businesses and customers. The name DOSI is derived from the Korean word for "city," symbolizing a virtual economic circle that creators, enterprises, and fans worldwide can create. DOSI supports 8 languages and will be available in 180 countries globally. On the DOSI platform, international businesses and creators can easily build NFT brand stores and global communities, as well as access NFT creation and global marketing support. Additionally, through the NFT dedicated wallet, users can use credit cards, digital payments, or various cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum, Bitcoin, LINK, etc., for transactions and community activities.

The services offered by DOSI are expected to include: DOSI Store, DOSI Wallet, and DOSI Support. DOSI Store allows enterprises to quickly create their NFT brand market using templates or APIs and freely mint NFTs; DOSI Wallet integrates with social platforms, allowing users to participate in various metaverse activities, with credit card payments being prioritized in the first quarter; DOSI Support is provided by LINE's technical and marketing teams to help enterprises optimize the planning and operation of their NFT stores.
