The blockchain technology has brought waves of crazes like DeFi, NFTs, and the metaverse globally, where amidst the collective frenzy, many myths of skyrocketing gains and losses have been written. Extracting nutrients that can be implemented in various industries from such cutting-edge technology is the most practical concern for the business world.

Enterprise-level blockchain technology serves as a solution to this, and the Taiwan Blockchain Alliance and the Taiwan Blockchain University Alliance are leading various professional institutions domestically to establish a technical training system, starting with the foundation of talent cultivation, to kickstart the energy of implementing enterprise-level blockchain in industries.

Compared to the completely decentralized public blockchain ecosystem, enterprise-level blockchain can establish large-scale enterprise alliance networks across countries and industries. While promoting the liquidity of assets in industries and enhancing the efficiency of data circulation, it meets the needs of enterprises for "data privacy," "permission control," and "system compatibility" to comply with strict industry norms such as information security and personal data protection.

Chen Mei-ling, the Convener of Taiwan Blockchain Alliance, stated, "Now is the right time for Taiwan's industries to evaluate the application of enterprise-level blockchain technology in digital transformation. This technology has matured internationally, with numerous experimental and applied cases in central bank digital currencies, cross-border trade financing, and supply chain logistics tracking in various countries."

Peng Shao-fu, the Chairman of Taiwan Blockchain University Alliance, mentioned, "Taiwan's academic community has complete research on enterprise-level blockchain technology, applications, regulations, etc. If the outstanding talents in academia can be transformed into abundant human resources that can be used by enterprises, it will significantly promote positive development in the industry."

Domestically, there is already a research and development capacity for mainstream enterprise-level blockchain technology internationally. How to appropriately leverage and utilize it in the process of enterprise digital transformation is a topic that all parties in the industry need to collectively brainstorm. Huang Chao-qiu, CEO of BSOS Taiwan Valley Technology Co., Ltd., expressed that in the initial stage, complete technical support from technology partners is provided, and it is essential to add professional insights from the business units in the field, both of which are indispensable elements for the success of the implementation project.

Li Yu-xian, the person in charge of the enterprise-level blockchain development project of Taiwan Blockchain University Alliance, stated that the alliance focuses on "education and training," "application field research," and "solution planning" as its three main axes. In addition to the enterprise-level blockchain technology training courses planned in collaboration with Taiwan Blockchain Alliance, efforts are also devoted to promoting the adoption of this technology in the industry and establishing a complete talent value chain. The Climate Action Research Group, established in the second half of last year, focuses on the application of enterprise-level blockchain in supply chain carbon tracking and international carbon rights mechanisms.

Wang Ying-xin, the project manager of the enterprise-level blockchain training course of Taiwan Blockchain University Alliance, mentioned that the 2022 enterprise-level blockchain technology training course planned in collaboration with Taiwan Blockchain Alliance will be held in two sessions, each leading participants through practical exercises for 18 hours. Upon completion, participants will not only possess the technical ability to develop complete enterprise-level blockchain applications but will also be awarded a course certificate upon review.

Two information sessions for the courses will be held on April 7 and May 12, followed by the formal courses four weeks after the end of the information session. For detailed course information, please refer to the official announcement on the website of Taiwan Blockchain Alliance here.
