Authorized Revocation Website Revoke Introduces "Signature Panel" Feature! Can Revoke Past Signatures to Avoid Potential Phishing Risks
The popular authorization revocation website, Revoke, commonly used by the cryptocurrency community, has recently introduced a new feature. In addition to revoking authorizations with phishing risks, users can also cancel signatures on Revoke to prevent any potential asset theft.
A common method that scammers use on phishing websites is tricking you into signing gasless signatures. These gasless signatures can be used to list assets for sale, approve allowances, or otherwise authorise asset transfers. pic.twitter.com/Fb6FFdrBaT

Revoke New Feature: Signature Panel Introduction
"One common method scammers use on phishing websites is to trick you into signing transactions that require no payment fees, known as 'gasless signatures.' These feeless transactions can be used for listing assets for sale, approving authorizations, or authorizing asset transfers," the Revoke team said.
Since these signatures are not stored on the blockchain, users cannot verify whether they have signed these transactions. Once these transactions are initiated on the chain, there is a risk of being phished.
To address this issue, Revoke has introduced the 'Signature Panel' feature, where users can see all potential signatures on this panel. Therefore, if a user has engaged in a signature with phishing risks, they can click 'Cancel Signatures' to revoke the signature and prevent asset loss risks.
However, each time a signature is canceled, a gas fee of approximately $5 is required at the time of writing. Therefore, the Revoke team also advises not to excessively use this feature unless there are strong indications that a signature was signed on a phishing website.
SlowMist Founder: Used for "Just in Case"
Regarding this Revoke update, Yu Xian, founder of the cybersecurity company SlowMist, also mentioned that this is a good feature. He added that this function is used for "just in case," and although canceling suspected signatures incurs some cost, it can help avoid potential phishing risks.
"Whether to use this signature cancellation feature depends on your own judgment. If you feel like you may have accidentally signed a suspicious signature, for precautionary measures, you can use it," Yu Xian said.
https://t.co/kmIjzyIh2S
