Hong Kong Web3 Summit | TOPOS, a Web3.0 confidential payment and settlement system built on PlatON, makes its official debut

On April 13th, the "Global Web3 Payment Innovation Forum" of the 2023 Hong Kong Web3 Carnival, co-hosted by Wanxiang Blockchain Lab, HashKey Group, and PlatON, was officially held in Hong Kong. PlatON founder Sun Lilin delivered the opening speech on "Web3.0 Confidential Payment Clearing System" and officially launched the Web3.0 confidential payment clearing system—TOPOS, built on PlatON.

Sun Lilin, the founder of PlatON, delivered the opening speech on "Web3.0 Confidential Payment Clearing System" and officially launched TOPOS, a Web3.0 confidential payment clearing system built on PlatON. TOPOS is an open payment clearing operating system based on the underlying blockchain, adhering to the multilateral structure of OPEN LOOP. Its payment core is based on Tokenized Money, aiming to allow Web3's "money" to be self-minted by users and securely complete controlled value transfers. Anyone can assemble the ultimate payment clearing service in the ecosystem through the underlying blockchain capabilities provided by TOPOS. Merchants and users can hold Web3 assets in a non-custodial manner and rely on standards developed by acquirers, wallet institutions, and Tokenized Money payment scenario standard setters to complete payments and value exchanges. TOPOS will strive to invite global developers, card-issuing institutions, acquirers, wallets, and other third-party specialized service institutions to participate in building a multilateral payment clearing framework based on multi-party consensus under a global regulatory compliance framework.
