Guide to Using Lootbot Airdrop Bot
As the name suggests, Lootbot is a bot used on Telegram that helps users automatically complete airdrop operations. Users only need to complete some preliminary steps and then can let their phones operate automatically. The following is a step-by-step guide on how to use it.
Step 1: User Verification
First, when users open Lootbot on Telegram, they will see a screen for user data and verification. Click the button at the bottom and enter the invitation code to start using it.
Note: If you don't have an invitation code, you can use: oqc4h8
After successful input, the terms of use will pop up, and upon confirming, you can click "Accept" to proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Choose Blockchain
Next, Lootbot will ask users which blockchain they want to airdrop on, with five options available. Currently, only zkSync is selectable, as others are still under development. Therefore, this guide will choose zkSync for demonstration.
Step 3: Add Wallet
After selecting zkSync, the following screen will appear. Click on "Wallets" to add a wallet.
You can choose to create a new wallet (Create Wallet) or import a wallet (Import Wallet). It is recommended to choose to create a new wallet for security reasons. You can add up to a maximum of 10 wallets by entering the required quantity, and they will be automatically created.
At this point, Lootbot will display the wallet address and private key. Users can transfer the airdropped funds to this address, with a minimum transfer of 0.1 ETH.
Step 4: Cross-Chain Transfer
Once enough funds are deposited, click on "Start Looting" to prepare for the airdrop process.
However, since the newly created wallet on zkSync does not have funds yet, a cross-chain operation is required first. Lootbot will ask how much of the funds from the wallet should be transferred, with the minimum cross-chain amount being 0.04 ETH.
After selecting the percentage, Lootbot will automatically proceed with the operation through zkSync Portal. This process may take a few minutes, and once completed, Lootbot will notify users automatically and provide transaction records.
Step 5: Automatic Airdrop
After completing step 4, Lootbot will display the following screen.
The first part includes basic data such as the cross-chain amount in the user's wallet, interactions with smart contracts, and the number of transactions.
The second part explains the automatic airdrop process by Lootbot, which includes:
- Crossing ETH to zkSync Era via zkSync Portal.
- Converting ETH to USDC via SyncSwap.
- Converting USDC to zkUSD.
- Adding liquidity for USDC/zkUSD on SyncSwap.
Lootbot will handle this part automatically, so no manual intervention is needed beyond step 4.
However, the speed of automatic operations may not be very fast. In testing, after the cross-chain transfer, it took approximately one hour before the second operation commenced. Once the operation is completed, Lootbot will notify users automatically.
The final part previews the protocol operations that can be performed on Lootbot in the future, with plans to gradually add them within 1-2 weeks, as stated by the official.
Note: Lootbot is currently free to use, but a payment mechanism is expected to be introduced in the future.
Is Lootbot Secure?
According to the Lootbot official website, the development team behind this bot is unknown, with only endorsements from multiple crypto KOLs and airdrop hunters, which raises some concerns.
Furthermore, as Lootbot involves automatic operations, the Lootbot team gains access to users' wallet private keys, posing risks of centralization and rug pulls.
Therefore, if you decide to try it, it is advisable not to deposit a large amount of funds. Additionally, wallets created on Lootbot can also be imported into browser wallets. After the airdrop process is completed, if there are concerns about fund safety, funds can be immediately transferred to regularly used wallets.
Introduction to Lootbot Token: LOOT
Shortly after the official launch of Lootbot, the team also issued a token named LOOT, with a total supply of 10 million tokens.
According to the official information, LOOT holders can enjoy a 50% reduction in Lootbot subscription fees in the future, receive 25% fee sharing, and earn 5% of referral earnings. Additionally, converting LOOT into xLOOT after burning it can yield higher fee sharing rates.
On the day of release, LOOT was priced around $0.2, but recently, Scott, an NFT product manager at Uniswap, expressed optimism about Lootbot on Twitter, converting all 20 ETH into LOOT. This action inspired the community, causing the price of LOOT to briefly exceed $1. Currently, the market capitalization of LOOT is around $6.7 million.
(Once again, readers are reminded that using such tools carries risks, so it is essential to carefully evaluate and confirm the operation process before use.)
