Within two hours of EigenLayer's announcement to remove staking limits on February 6, the Total Value Locked (TVL) surged by $750 million.

According to DefiLlama, the TVL has reached $3.218 billion, an increase of approximately $1 billion from the previous day. The influx of new funds is mainly from Lido's stETH, accounting for about 80% of new deposits. The current TVL structure is shown in the following figure.

EigenLayer has chosen to gradually remove staking limits in order to "attract organic demand," but will permanently remove staking limits at some point in the future. Staking is currently open until 4:00 am on February 10 (Taiwan Time), at which point new limits will be established.

Since mid-December last year, EigenLayer's TVL has increased by over $2 billion.
