Harmony's cross-chain bridge hacked for approximately $100 million
The public blockchain Harmony (ONE) announced that around $100 million was stolen from its cross-chain bridge Horizon on the morning of the 23rd, U.S. time. The incident has been reported to regulatory authorities, and Harmony is cooperating with experts in an attempt to recover the funds. Harmony stated that its Bitcoin cross-chain bridge was not affected (as Horizon is connected to Ethereum and BNB Chain), and the funds and decentralized treasury are safe.

Harmony also mentioned that all exchanges have halted trading on Horizon, and the situation is currently under investigation.
