UniswapX Aggregator Launches!
UniswapX is a permissionless, open-source, and auction-based trading protocol with liquidity spanning various AMM automated market makers and other liquidity sources. Its features include:
- Better prices
- No Gas Fee for swaps
- MEV protection
- No payment for failed transactions
- Future release of cross-chain swaps with no Gas Fee
Next-Generation Aggregator
UniswapX outsources the complexity of routing to an open Filler network, where these Fillers bid to obtain the best prices.
No Gas Fee for Swaps, No Payment for Failed Transactions!
Swappers sign an off-chain transaction that is submitted to the chain by Fillers, who pay the Gas Fee to complete the transaction on behalf of the swappers. This means swappers can pay transaction fees without the native token of that blockchain and do not have to pay Gas Fees for failed transactions.
MEV Protection, Immune to Sandwich Attacks
UniswapX states that value that was previously extractable by MEV miners through arbitrage transactions will now return to swappers, allowing them to obtain better prices. UniswapX will not be vulnerable to sandwich attacks.
Cross-Chain Version Coming by Year End
UniswapX will introduce a cross-chain version, enabling swappers to choose which assets to receive on which chain.
When Will UniswapX Be Available?
Uniswap indicates that as more Fillers join the ecosystem and with some numerical adjustments, more trading paths will be provided by UniswapX.
Is UniswapX Related to the UNI Token?
Uniswap mentions that, like Uniswap, UniswapX can be governed through UNI, granting the ability to extract up to 0.05% of protocol fees.
