Countdown 7 days, answer wrong, no money! CoinMarketCap launches educational incentive program "Earn"

Another opportunity to understand the operation mechanism of cryptocurrency projects and easily earn project tokens has emerged. In addition to the widely reported "Coinbase Earn," CoinMarketCap, under Binance, has also launched an education reward program called "Earn."

CoinMarketCap Earn

CoinMarketCap Earn will gradually release educational videos for various blockchain projects in the future. Users can participate in quizzes and earn rewards, with the token rewards not exceeding $10 in value. The first project listed on Earn is "Band Protocol," the ninth IEO project on Binance last year. The reward program will provide $160,000 worth of BAND tokens, meaning only 16,000 users will ultimately receive token rewards.

According to The Block, a CoinMarketCap spokesperson stated that the educational rewards program is expected to feature two projects per month, with each project's educational rewards activity lasting for eight days, although the exact total amount of token rewards cannot be provided.

Meanwhile, the activity page on the CoinMarketCap Earn website shows that the BAND token reward activity will end in seven days.

Participate in "Learn Band Protocol, Earn $BAND"

Multiple countries including the United States, China, Belarus, Cuba, Iraq, Iran, North Korea, and Syria are eligible to participate in CoinMarketCap Earn. After testing, users in Taiwan can participate in the quiz, but it remains to be seen whether they will be excluded from receiving rewards in the end.

Compared to "Coinbase Earn," it may be slightly harder to earn money from CoinMarketCap. While both require watching three tutorial videos, Coinbase allows unlimited attempts to answer questions, so it doesn't matter if you answer incorrectly, and there are fewer questions; whereas CoinMarketCap has seven questions with no room for error.

Participants need to provide an email, receive Band's address, and a "memo." The address can be a wallet from exchanges like Binance, Huobi, or Coinbase.

Previously reported on the "Coinbase Earn" platform, the latest projects added are Comp and KNC, which have performed well in the DeFi sector. KNC was still on the waiting list at the end of July, but is now open for participation.
